So, who's doughnut did Germany take the jam out of? 🍩😂

Well, I for one enjoyed the fuck out of the first episode of - courtesy of Kodi. 😉

Had been considering signing up to but looks like I left it too late as registrations (to the main instance) are closed.

Not the crazy race I thought it was going to be. I'm not a fan of anything about Red Bull, but they went the right way with setup (straight line). Ferrari also need to get on top of their tyre wear, because they're slipping back in terms of managing, maximising, and extracting optimal tyre performance over race distance (Ron Dennis speak 😄), and in a straight development battle over a season, barring dramas, the fizzy drinks will have the advantage over prancing horse.

Black and gay. Are anti-woke fascists actually capable of processing two snowflake-melting events at once? Hopefully they'll hemorrhage trying.

It's also 'The Month of May' in motorsport: the lead-up to the Indy 500.

I've been an on-and-off Indy/CART fan for many years, timing my visits to family members with satellite TV, but now it's on the F1 Sky channel. I'm preferring it to the F1.

May the fourth be with you.

The first Star Wars Day celebration was in 2011 at the Toronto Underground Cinema in Toronto, Canada.

My favourite shows, in maybe a particular order 😄:

Babylon 5
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (Radio)
Red Dwarf
Star Trek (all eras)
Stargate SG1 (indeed)
Doctor Who (esp 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th)
Battlestar Galactica (both)

Some newer/ongoing sci-fi:
The Expanse
For All Mankind

Blasphemous confession:
I've never thought much of Firefly.

I could easily go on. 😄

The late, great George Carlin.
Seemed fitting to share this:
Watch "George Carlin - Pro-Life Conservatives" on YouTube

Started watching SeaQuest DSV. Haven't seen this for many years, but remember the first season was it's best.

It was shot on film so visually it's fairing better than other shows from the 90's - 00's that haven't received a 1080p release - 480p shows like The Outer Limits, Earth: Final Conflict, and Space: Above and Beyond are looking pretty tragic in comparison!

Like Babylon 5 the VFX/CGI was done on Amiga computers! Rendering times must've been crazy.

I want to watch and Strange New Worlds same time as the US, but Paramount+ doesn't honour UK with its presence until September '22. When it does arrive it's included with Sky subscriptions at no extra cost anyway.

Unsurprisingly there are UK fans saying "f**k you, we'll just pirate it then." 🏴‍☠️

"The easiest way to stop piracy is by giving those people a service that's better than what they're receiving from the pirates." - Gabe Newell (the Steam gaming platform guy)

Big thumbs up for 'The Batman'. Yeah it didn't need to be as long, but still a really good take on the dark detective. Nice use of Nirvana too. 👍🦇

The SkyF1 audio for the last night was awful, but at least we don't get ad breaks in the UK. Really like the racing, US tracks, and refuelling. Nice to see McLaren winning somewhere. Herta is fast but makes too many mistakes. Rahal left enough room, Grosjean was a touch aggressive. Johnson actually had some some help spinning, for a change.
