Must read by the creator of dogecoin 👇👇👇

I am often asked if I will “return to cryptocurrency” or begin regularly sharing my thoughts on the topic again. My answer is a wholehearted “no”, but to avoid repeating myself I figure it might be worthwhile briefly explaining why here…

> Cryptocurrency is like taking the worst parts of today's capitalist system (eg. corruption, fraud, inequality) and using software to technically limit the use of interventions (eg. audits, regulation, taxation) which serve as protections or safety nets for the average person.

So. Much. This.

@FranckLeroy it’s incredibly ironic that the creator of a shitcoin can ramble about how crypto is inherently “right-wing” & “capitalistic” in its nature and claim there’s not enough good-faith debate about crypto while locking the Twitter thread from discussion and profiting off his creation. How can anyone take this seriously?

That's a very interesting read, the first time I open my eyes to this side, usually it is more ecological impact that is used, here it embraces even 'eco-friendly' schemes.

@artlog06 Well I came to this field to speak out against the insane environemental impact and discovered a world of scams, and a cult held mainly by right wing techno libertarians. An evil utopia.

what to think about G1/june : for which philosophical ground is left wing ?

That would really be the only crypto experiment I would save from all this mess !

I am following it remotely.
I think that's a great experiment.
Although I think the "rules" of money supply are too much rigid / hardcoded to adapt to the economy and should rather be dynamic and be able to change upon vote of the community.
