Why is it so difficult to focus on anything

@Gargron It's difficult to focus because, like breathing, thinking is partially automatic. You can influence your thoughts, but if you're not activately trying to, or you're not sure what you should be thinking about, then ultimately it seems difficult to think/focus.

@Gargron The best way to focus that I've found is to ask interrogative questions about what you want to focus on, or passively read more about it, giving your brain a chance to automatically latch onto what you want to focus on.

Who, what, why, when, where, and how.
