Before you research a new technology, write down how it feels to see that tech. I find once you get started anything can feel like a gimmick and you wanna give up. Good to keep in tune with how magical it looks to a person who doesn't know how it works.

Good day though. Today was a very good day.

I'm dumb. Why do I have a separate div to flex-grow when I could just set main to do that. Oh well, live and learn.

Just in case there's any confusion. Cause this is the best way forever to keep the footer at the bottom

I grab the kettle but I had to sneeze so I reached the kettle out to not sneeze in the kettle and that's the story about why I dabbed with the kettle at midnight

The definitive answer for website layouts. Flex column with a div above the footer with flex-grow 1. Compatibility be damned it works.

@KarlTheCool usually you can similate the prefer-xxx case media queries within dev tools

CMD/Ctrl + shift + P with dev tools open and search for "show rendering" (chromium)

I have decided that I am getting sucked up into the forest of knowledge and I need to get back on track to attainable progress befroe my motivation gets even lower.

I turned off animation in windows. The css media flag still wont trigger and now windows wont let me turn animations back on

How the heck do I get accessibility settings to work. I'm down to add screen reader support and css media flags but dang, how do I know they work if they're so finicky to test
