Di atas Mastodon itu ada Fediverse (grgr Rae aku coba ngulik)
Fediverse itu suatu server tempat orang ngebuat website sendiri. Website yang aku tau baru Mastodon(seperti burung), PeerTube(seperti yt), dan Friendica(seperti fb).
Fediverse ini mengijinkan setiap user pada website di bawahnya untuk saling berinteraksi walaupun beda server. DENGAN CATATAN, memiliki website dengan protokol yg sama (mastodon dengan mastodon, peertube dengan peertube, friendica dengan friendica)
Ini juga menarik buat dibaca tentang perjalanan dia ngembangin platform ini.

Mastodon does not store passwords in plain text. This is trivial to confirm as Mastodon is an open-source project. We use the bcrypt algorithm for one-way hashing of passwords. I can't believe someone is spreading misinformation about something so trivial to debunk.
