once i get it running and get to the first post-prototype revision, i'm probably going to try to make this thing available to the general public
This is a brand new server run by the main developers of the project as a spin-off of mastodon.social 
It is not focused on any particular niche interest - everyone is welcome as long as you follow our code of conduct!
it's not going to be super cheap because duh, high voltage, but currently the BOM cost is in the $60s which is definitely too much. the prototype is going to be a playground for removing unnecessary parts and simplifying power circuitry
