The president of Texas A&M resigns.
It looks like her role in rescinding a senior faculty job offer because the applicant was black was intolerable to the campus community, to its credit, and it was clear she no longer commanded the respect a college presidency requires to function.

@alexwild were they ever called deans in the US, or is president the usual term?
About the case itself, I can't be surprised. I have seen the particular climate within the US universities. Long ways to improve still.
