I used to be a mod. It's nothing like that.

Mods (generally) ACTUALLY help the community they're a part of!

I used to take my job very seriously, and there were checks and balances in place. If I banned someone without just cause, it was reversed and I was reprimanded. Too many of those and you'll get demodded.
