The Canadian Grand Prix has been cancelled and will be replaced on its 11-13 June date by a race at Turkey's Istanbul Park track.
It is the second successive year the Montreal event has been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Travel restrictions made it impossible to enter Canada without a mandatory 14-day quarantine, said an F1 statement.

Hamilton wins the Bahrain GP. An absolute thriller! Lewis Hamilton one, Max Verstappen two, Valtteri Bottas three. No surprise to see that as the top three, but what a brilliant race that was.
Verstappen had the lead, but gave the place back after going off the track in the overtaking move.

He headed McLaren's Lando Norris in the second session, with Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton third and Valtteri Bottas fifth, split by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.

Fernando Alonso has undergone a “successful corrective operation” for a fractured jaw following a cycling accident in Switzerland, according to his Alpine team – with the Spaniard expected to be declared fit for pre-season testing in March.
Following the accident while training in Switzerland, Alonso was immediately taken to hospital, with x-rays revealing a fracture to his jaw that required surgery.

X44, formed by Seven-Time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, will make its racing debut in Extreme E. Named with reference to Lewis’ own racing number, X44 will provide opportunities to the next generation of drivers, engineers and technicians

Alpine F1 Team Statement:
Alpine F1 Team can confirm that Fernando Alonso has been involved in a road accident while cycling in Switzerland.
Fernando is conscious and well in himself and is awaiting further medical examinations tomorrow morning.

Red Bull has confirmed that Sergio Perez will partner Max Verstappen for the 2021 F1 season, replacing Alex Albon.

What a lap. The Dutchman sounds absolutely over the moon on the radio, and that one matters. He backed off through the first sector, left life in his tires and smashed the end of the lap to grab pole from Bottas by just 0.025s.

By just 0.034 seconds, Max Verstappen leads the way in first practice in Abu Dhabi.
Valtteri Bottas is second, then comes Esteban Ocon, Alexander Albon, Lewis Hamilton, Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, Daniil Kvyat, Pierre Gasly and Kimi Raikkonen.

Sergio Perez is a race winner finally, and his drive to victory in the Sakhir Grand Prix could be no better advert for a driver currently out of a job at the end of the year.
The Mexican is performing at the top of his game right now and Red Bull, the only possible destination for him in 2021, cannot ignore this as they weigh up who should partner Max Verstappen next year.
