Tried to post this earlier, but it didn’t take: fairly sizable protest (with some arrests) happened around the White House today, spread out around the whole area, of primarily Jewish demonstrators from If Not Now and Jewish Voice for Peace calling for a ceasefire along the border between Israel and Gaza.

Says one rabbi, addressing the crowd: “The answer to all of this unfathomable grief cannot be mass murder. … Our grief is not a weapon.”
