Oh - nearly forgot - in other news, running is going well. For those that don't know - since the pandemic started, I have been working from home. In the world before that, I cycled to work every day, and ran three times a week. That all stopped for far too long.

Starting the week before last, I'm working my way through the "Couch to 5K" programme - and trying not to get ahead of myself, because I've injured myself before doing that.

Would love to connect with other (unfit) runners :)

@jonbeckett I started couch to 5K (for the unpteenth time) last month, then had a week of business travel followed by a week of being sick which I'm just getting over. Hoping to get back to it next week.

@jonbeckett I tried couch to 5k a few years ago and I think my horror at my unfitness meant I abandoned it quite quickly. Need to get over my pride and just be Bad At Running for a while!

@jonbeckett I’m unfit ish after medical problems last year. Back up to a very slow 10k but I miss being fast!

@jonbeckett I'm taken aback every time I look at couch to 5K because I consider myself to have been totally sedentary my entire life and for long periods that's absolutely true but I've also worked myself up to running for hours straight in hilly terrain several times, not realizing that I had long since blown past that 5K mark.
I think I'll be setting aside an hour a day for exercise and jumping back onto couch to 5K.

@jonbeckett side note, any recommendatimbs for a tracking app? It's pretty simple to do manually but I want utterly brainless if possible.
