Here's a straight answer:
YES, we're excited to announce that an Android version of Thunderbird is coming!
We'll have more details to share with you in a few weeks. We'll talk to you about it here, and over on our blog at https://blog.thunderbird.net.

@dansup I was thinking while using Unsplash mobile app, have you ever had a chance to have a look at it? I think the UI is amazing for any image centered application!
I post this every so often, and we have a lot of new users right now who may not be aware of it.
https://www.mediabiasfactcheck.com is a site you can check if you're not sure if the source you want to use has a left or right bias. It also tells you if the publication is generally fact-based or not.
Typically, local TV and radio stations are considered not to be biased, and a local newspaper might have a center-left or a center-right bias. We don't mind a left bias here as long as the news coverage is factual, and we can certainly tell what is fact and what is opinion. Opinion columnists can be used here too.
Would you be interested in attending a virtual town hall meeting to voice your feedback/opinions to help shape our project?
Boosts appreciated! #pixelfed

Sixteen states (all with Democratic attorneys general, of course), DC, NYC, LA, and some environmental groups are suing USPS over DeJoy's decision to buy gas-guzzling trucks that get fewer than 9 MPG instead of an electric truck fleet.
DeJoy's gas calculation was for gas that was two dollars/gallon cheaper than what gas costs today. Even not accounting for Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the effect that would have on gas prices, how did no one consider inflation over the 30 years of the truck life?
Oh, it's because the contract was signed before the study was done on costs.
One more DeJoy grift.
