Set up my laptop and phone to today ignore notifications from email in the morning until an hour when I would be in the “office”. Aim is that I am only start dealing with email at 9am or later. I usually jump in once I am awake between 5-8am.

Partially trying to carve out some non-thinking about work time in the morning and also maybe build in some thinking time for research

@megschwamb I try to always have an alternative available so I don’t fall back into work out of default. I find I have to be _very_ intentional in what I choose, and it took a lot of exploration to find them. Now, my toolkit contains playing music, read the local news, and listen to at least one podcast episode on a walk.
