Spent my commute home daydreaming about several of the things I'm reading, popped open mastodon to type my rambling into the void, saw a response to an instance inquiry I'd sent out a bit ago.

The library being closed has really cut down on the number of physical books I get through, so I've gotten used to reading on my phone.

Fuck this fir tree though. The pine needles are long enough to clump, at least.
The gutters on the corner by the big fir are just filled with this homogeneous mass of decaying gunk that you've got to scoop out bit by bit.

Freezing fistfuls of sodden pine needles aside, turns out the west slope of the roof is a cozy place to spend an afternoon.

I prefer to be a cipher, in that I find anonymity more comforting than being accurately referred to. I also tend to stay low-key enough to avoid major harassment, so I don't often block or silence even true annoyances.
That said, I'm not here to broadcast nonsense, so don't expect interaction.
