I have been using for more than 12 or 13 years. Sadly, this week I have decided to stop using it for good & the main reason is forcing us to use packages. I want to be in control of what runs as a snap package & what runs as a deb from a disto repo. Being in control is why I use . I moved to today and despite some minor difficulties during installation I have a happier & cleaner setup. I use (much faster than Snap) with Debian for proprietary apps like Zoom.

@moftasa I'm tried several distros but I can use Arch or Manjaro. These are so good, simple and fast.

@mrleles yes, I did consider arch but I thought I'd stick with something that is related to Ubuntu as I didn't want a steeper learning curve. I have also heard very good things about Manjaro and I may try it one day.
