Australian considering similar #sanctions laws:
“US uses economic sanctions as a weapon against nations who choose a development path independent of US global domination. It uses sanctions as a tool to destabilize governments that refuse to kow-tow to it.”

Press freedom is at stake, with the arbitrary arrest of Wikileaks founder & owner #JulianAssange We must take action. We can not allow Julian to be prosecuted for telling the truth. The United States committed the #WarCrimes Julian only reported the situation.

So it's "Press Freedom Day"...

Does it mean that US + UK will #FreeAssangeNOW and #DropTheCharges against WikiLeaks?

"Espionnage" charges against #Assange and WikiLeaks, if maintained, would create the worst precedent ever for press freedom worldwide. Every authoritarian country in the world could follow that example and do the same to censor any journalistic activity in the future..

2 YEARS! For 730 days, Julian #Assange has been rotting in "British Guantanamo", after being forcefully removed from EC embassy, his political asylum illegally revoked.

His crime? Exposing the true nature of the war crimes of the US and the UK, in an undeniable, un-censorable and searchable way.

Massive breaches of the rule-of-law concern us all!

Beyond Assange and WikiLeaks is the fate of free speech, free press, and our collective ability to publish online.

What kind of society do we want? Whom do we choose to protect & empower? What is courage?

#JulianAssange answered these questions by exposing corruption, war crimes & rogue states’ disdain for the law.

It’s our turn to free him as he completes 2 years in that hell-hole Belmarsh

The continued impunity for #CollateralMurder epitomizes what the #Assange case is all about:

A man slowly #tortured to death by govts for exposing their lies crimes & corruption.

An AOC spox has denied any role in the police visit to @queeralamode, who said he was accused of threatening a lawmaker for posting video of AOC's comments on Israel-Palestine. Was the incident part of a wider trend of post-1/6 social media policing? thegrayzone.com/2021/04/09/ant

Anti-war activist @queeralamode said he was visited by California Highway Patrol officers after posting video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's bumbling comments on Israel-Palestine.

The action was initiated by a call to US Capitol Police. thegrayzone.com/2021/04/09/ant

11 years ago tomorrow (April 5) WikiLeaks published Collateral Murder t.co/GTT00ttQMp

While there is still no direct accountability for the killers - the publisher, Julian Assange, has not known a day of liberty in more than 10 years #FreeAssangeNOW t.co/xi2kCwIOFB
