I decided to make a thread where I collect phrases that might be just normal sentences but nonetheless were an epiphany for me. Maybe, one of them can be such an epiphany for one of you, too.

Most of the time, cars don't drive. They stand around and take up space that cannot be used otherwise during that time.
Money is finite. The world is a closed system. In order do make huge amounts of money, you have to take it from somewhere. You do not generate this money out of nowhere.
It's easy to have a "no politics here" policy when you are privileged. Everything is politics if you are marginalized
You can be both privileged and marginalized at the same time. That's because, you can be privileged in one aspect of your life and marginalized in another.
The role of commercial policy in politics is to keep private companies under control not to do them favors. That's to ensure, that #capitalism is not unleashed. That's the duty of the state towards its citizens. Because capitalism, at its core, is an Ouroboros that would devour itself if given the chance.
Saving people's lives is not a crime
You don't become a billionaire through hard work. That's impossible
Sex work is work. Criminalizing it, doesn't end demand, it just makes working in that field more dangerous.
Just because other people get rights, it doesn't mean, you loose any or that your rights loose value.
