I got to the secret message, but I couldn't comment because I'm on a different server (Or I just forgot my password) either way, that was interesting. I did remember that I can use SHIFT + tab to move back up from the top down. I learned this trick when my mouse died and I couldn't turn off the computer.)

I started working doing PR in the Tech industry in 1982 & worked with people doing UI for Sun Microsystems workstations. I learned about "mouse shock" that is where the mouse buttons didn't do the same things on different platforms, since there was no standard.
How did they solve the problem? Did they work with standards bodies? Yes. But they mostly pushed their model with bundling deals & market share to become the default standard to force the standards body to adopt their model.
