2 men made serious death threats to election officials in #Arizona. They werent joking
They were tracked down, arrested, given due process, tried, found guilty by a jury of their peers & imprisoned.
This should be a HUGE deterrent. Why isn't it?
1) Fox News & RW media didn't cover it so the viewers are unaware of the consequences
2) GOP leaders didn't condemn it
3) The #DOJ is crap at promoting the successful convictions of the Election Threats Task Force.

Can you help me? I want more people to know that people have been imprisoned for making death threats on social media.
The Election Threat Task Force has been around since 2021, They investigated "dozens of threats, charged 20 people and got 13 convictions."
Did you hear about any of them?
Did you see any photos of the people sentenced to years in prison?

@spocko The system is, indeed, broken. The lack of attention to these important issues is a symptom of corporate power & greed. The corporate media enjoys all of the benefits of a major political political party’s ideology of corporate wealth, so they won’t bite the hand that feeds them. However, we do have some great investigative journalists on our side…which helps. Unfortunately, the masses still get their info from MSM. The journalists on “Substack” are gaining readers. 1/2
@DanaDee I agree there are some great investigative journalists on our side. My post from April includes a great Rolling Stones article about threats to election officials. And it did catch the attention of #MSNBC #ChrisHayes Also the Colorado Secretary of State had to publicly call out the lmlaw enforcement for not doing their job.
