Fedora makes a good impression so far. All the issues have an understandable reason, mostly: Wayland. At least Gecko-, Chromium- and Electron-based applications can usually be helped. At the cost of a wrong window and potentially also application icon.

Exception: Atom, their Electron base it too outdated. Maybe I should start looking for a new code editor…

@WPalant I switched from Atom to VSCode several years ago. Just had to get over the fact that it is Microsoft first. 😁

@veronica Yes, I’m trying out VS Code myself right now, regardless of Wayland issues. It’s a real pity that Atom development sort of stopped, it was very promising…
