Track 2 of the new Skylark Duquesne EP is the title song, "Townes and the Spirit". (As I often do,) I had set out to make my own version of "Echoes", but while it's still got a little #pinkfloyd going on, this is the only place where the Townes spirit of #Americana finally got through to me, thanks to the organ & acoustic.
Which is precisely why the second half of the song HAD to go full-rock. It's my most #FooFighters feel I've ever managed!

Gerade erinnerte ich mich an die #Band
#IFAWartburg (aus #Schweden!). Die hat 1998 ihr einziges #Music #Album veröffentlicht.
Kennengelernt hatte ich IFA Wartburg durch den #Song "Kosmoskost".
Gelegentlich geht mir der Track "Es ist nicht so schlimm auf der Insel #Krim" durch den Kopf, das ist trotz schöner #Melodie natürlich ein - leider! - sehr schlecht gealterter Titel! #fuckputin
