Hello new followers. I'm a PhD candidate in 19C AmericanLiterature, Book History, and Trans Studies at #UIUC. My dissertation is about how the material aspects of the book--from the binding to the typography--contributed to the formation of white cisheternomativity as a "natural" default by the end of the century.
