i've lived in many beautiful places but none that suited me so well as this little farmhouse in a rural tiny town

I spent too much of my time here sad, worried and not enough enjoying the birdsong and verdant green silence, the red breasted robins and robins' egg blue sky, the rural pace that belies how hard everyone works

I will never live in as lovely a place again so I'm trying to soak it in these last few days and etch it in my memory for harder more hectic times

It's #waterfallwednesday so thought I would share some fresh pics from Fall Creek Falls State Park in #tennessee

Home of the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi! They also give a bit of an #Easter vibe, but maybe that's because I associate spring and vibrant greens with Easter.

Cane Creek Falls gorge dominates the view, with a small waterfall plunging 100 feet into a turquoise pool of water, surrounded by rock cliffs and vibrant evergreen trees

Fall Creek, filled with boulders and white water, carves a path through the bare deciduous trees and evergreens as seen from way above on a cliffside.

It's #Easter week in #Appalachia where we finish #planting the #garden, #baking Hot Cross Buns, and enjoying #Springtime.

Silo got his Easter gift a bit early this year.

A close-up, high-angle shot shows a medium-sized, short-haired Labrador mix black dog holding a colorful stuffed toy in its mouth.
