Who knows something aboutmy #cactus and maybe other #succulents
This little guy has a strange brown line and looks like he's dying. What do I do?

This is my first CR2 RAW photo processed entirely using RawTherapee and GIMP, versions 5 and 3, respectively on macOS.
Minimal processing as I'm just learning the apps. I still have been unsuccessful in connecting between the two apps to automatically pass the photo between so had to go RT>tiff>GIMP.

Ok, so I know about #BloomScrolling and #Florespondence for posting blossoming plants, #Mosstodon for pictures of moss and #SavageGarden for carnivorous plants. But what's the punny hashtag for all the plants who rarely/never bloom (unless they are in their natural environment)? Where are all the fans of succulents, cacti, ficus trees and tropical plants posting their photos?

This big ol #saguaro #cactus is home to a lot of stuff, most notably #cactuswren and #gilded #flicker. With all the recent rains we’ve had the arms were too heavy to support the damaged trunk. This old gal was centuries old and just crashed down sometime this week. The arms can weigh 1-3000 pounds and the entire body can hold 200+ gallons of water. Very cool plants. Also fell across part of the trail, so instead of windfall spruce and fir I have ancient cacti windfall to deal with #biketooter
Normally this cactus blooms in late March. Not this year. Too cold and damp?

Wow, just noticed these two going nuts in the desert-part of our garden! What an amazing display!
I might sometimes have trouble remembering what day it is, but at least I'm not quite as confused as my Christmas cactus.
