Cartoon-Lobby-Weekend 2025

Vom 4.-6. :-)

Unboxing! Just got in copies of the new printing of my IT’S OOLA!! comic, now perfect bound and slightly larger to match the second issue. Oola herself has claimed the shipment, certain that she can move more copies since it’s about her varied adventures and exploits. Probably right. I will have the new comics at Brooklyn Indie Comics Showcase on April 26-27. Unfortunately, Oola will not be joining. Her appearance rider was way too expensive. #comics #cartoonist #comix #cat #blackcat

This is what happens when so-called law enforcement is given a consequence free hand and is even able to twist the definition of words to meet arrest quotas.
One of the words being used by ICE is detention. The actual word is imprison- what you call it when you take someone shackled wrists and ankles with chains and put them in a locked cell.
In any case, look for Becky Burke's graphic novel about the experience.

🧵The Mad Peck Remembered

“Providence Rhode Island where it rains two days out of three except during the rainy season when it snows like a bitch,

and Friendship is a one way street.

Rich folks live on Power Street,

But most of us live off Hope.”
