Before I knew anything about the guy, I liked #Elmo. He was pushing the industry, trying new things. Then somewhere between his daughter became his daughter and realizing he can pony up with the guy running the country and be in command by-proxy, he went off the rails.

Being the wealthiest man on the planet (which you totally get to be without treating people like shit) but he's surrounded by 'yes men', propaganda (much of it from X), and anyone that disagrees with him clearly hates him. Obviously the "Woke Mind Virus" is simply anything he doesn't like which he can sell his base on.

Frankly; I truly can't tell (and I don't think anyone else can either) if he understands he's surrounded by folks with their own goals and intents on using him (after all he is very autistic or whatever) so much so that he can't see the forest for the trees or it's because doesn't want to admit it's a forest.

He spent so long cosplaying 'protector of the planet' and 'explorer of the stars' that he doesn't seem to grasp that folks valued his goals and ideals not himself as a person. So when he (seemingly) abandoned all those goals and partnered with someone allowing deforesting and fracking of the national parks, he's SHOCKED to find that people don't like what he's doing.

All of that said; Who unironically wears a hat like this... TO A CABINET MEETING? (also ignoring the 'I need to stroke my white pussycat' evil villain pose)
