2 Planeten im Weltall. Einer ist fast vollständig blau. Auf dem anderen sitzt ein Lebewesen, sieht auf den blauen Planeten und sagt: Vor vielen Jahren war das die Erde. Wir haben den Planeten in Salzwasser umgetauft. Menschen gibt es kaum noch welche.

Photo weaving: this is a piece of a window from a church in The Hague. I used it to make all kinds of patterns. I call it photo weaving. I mirror the piece with photoshop, mirror it again, flip it over and mirror again, etc. until I have something nice. For the next pattern I take a piece of the piece, mirror it, flip it over, mirror again, etc. This is how all kinds of different patterns came about. I also used this technique to design wallpapers for a shortstay hotel in The Hague. They wanted wallpapers of all kinds of pieces of The Hague. This is a piece of a church window. Two stone arches come from the bottom left and fan out upwards. The spaces between them are filled with narrower stone arches in drop shapes. In between dark stained glass.

A new pattern, formed from the previous piece of photo. A wide band in the middle, but now by mirroring and merging triangles have been created on both sides.

The band is now wider, the original piece is even smaller and the pattern in the band is also smaller. Again a different pattern

Two rows have now been created in yet another pattern of stone arches and stained glass.

So, Wohnung unter mir leergepumpt, meine Küche ist wieder trocken und ich hab die Badehose aus- und den Jogginganzug angezogen. Feierabend .

Hier nun meine Umsetzung des Themas

Das experimentelle Foto zeigt im Hochformat ein grosses, mit Wasser gefülltes Trinkglas. Von oben fällt eine Tomate hinein und erzeugt einen Luftblasen im Glas sowie eine Wasserfontäne, die in die Höhe schiesst und über den Glasrand schwappt. Der Hintergrund ist wie der Untergrund weiß und vom Schattenwurf des Glases und Wassers gezeichnet.

The experimental photo shows a large drinking glass filled with water in portrait format. A tomato falls into it from above and creates an air bubble in the glass as well as a fountain of water that shoots up and spills over the edge of the glass. The background and surface are white and are coloured by the shadows cast from the glass and the water.

Das Foto ist eine Bildmontage bestehend aus dem Einzelfoto Glas, welches auf weißem Hintergrund 3 mal kopiert und dann im Quadrat mit gleichmässigem Abstand angeordnet wurde. Anschliessend wurden die nun 4 wassergefüllten Gläser mittels Bildbearbeitungssoftware unterschiedlich coloriert, so dass sich eine Art 'Andy Warhol' Effekt ergibt.

The photo is an image montage consisting of the single glass photo, which was copied 3 times on a white background and then arranged in a square with equal spacing. The 4 water-filled glasses were then coloured differently using image editing software to create a kind of 'Andy Warhol' effect.
