Today was #ScotchYoke day! Turning rotational movement into lateral movement with the help of an old #bicycle wheel and some #oak left over from an interior design project. The #HeathRobinson #sculpture for @rhubarbfarm_ is coming together at pace now, good job as it's supposed to be all #singing and #dancing by next Friday! #recycling #volunteering #ArtForAll

I left something at my clarinet teacher's house, so instead of a proper ligature I have resorted to elastic bands. It kind of works. It really shouldn't.

It only happened because he was trying different mouthpieces, barrels and ligatures. The difference in sound quality means I'm making a trip to a music shop on Saturday, not sure yet if it's for a new mouthpiece or a new clarinet.
