So I’m making this but NOT crop top
And it’s weird because it’s a 3x3 rib so I think I have it at the right length but I keep wanting to stretch it out and then it would fit like three of me
So I don’t know how to decide if I’m making it too big or just right!
It looks fine in the pic but if I stretch it at all it’s comically large

I went to the yarn store because my FRIEND wanted to see something and then I fell in love with this and there were only 5 left and I decided I hat I need to make a cardigan because it’s so GORGEOUS
so now the question, #knitters, is if anyone has a great pattern for a cardigan made of sock yarn?!

My knit practice is too big for my longest needle. Do I switch to a circular needle? For this practice I’m just knitting something wide and long for the cats to snuggle on. A book with side effects: After reading my middle grade novel The Greenest Wind, Edith Kudlovic designed and made this beautiful patchwork afghan.
In the book, Lucy knits a similar throw - inspired by the many shades of green in Ireland.

Going through old photos, I came across this shawl that doesn’t get enough time in my regular wardrobe. This is “Water” by Sylvia McFadden. It was my first time playing with short rows in a shawl and I loved it!
The MC yarn is “Bramble” by HHF on their skinny singles base. The short row/CC is “York” by FDF n their Foxy Lady base. Both are luxuriously soft and squishy, perfect for around the neck and next to skin.

I stopped by a local crafting shop to replace some of the cheap circular needles I bought when I decided to learn how to knit. The crappy plastic loops (which yarn tends to stick to) have broken on three and I managed to break the bamboo needle on a fourth.
This time, I got metal and carbon fibre needles, and while I was there, you know I had to snoop through the other supplies. I didn't buy any yarn this time, but it was a damned close call.
