Memo<p>Der „MeshCore-Reichweiten-Test“ heute in Schwerin ist sicherlich, wie die bisherigen auch, nicht aussagekräftig, ist der Empfang zwischen den innerstädtischen Häuserschluchten, hinter Gebäuden und in Senken doch stark eingeschränkt, bis unmöglich. Comparing <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/DeltaChat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DeltaChat</span></a> and <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/Matrix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Matrix</span></a> together, if you want hassle free and consistent messenger for private <a href="https://cr8r.gg/tags/E2EE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>E2EE</span></a> chats, don't go for Matrix. DeltaChat is way better.</p><p>However, if you want something like a public forum, or a public chatroom, don't go for DeltaChat. Matrix is way better suited for that. And DeltaChat does not support public groups at all. Die Beta-Version treibt dies noch weiter: Sobald der Assistent geöffnet wird, beginnt er automatisch mitzuhören, verarbeitet die Sprachdaten in der Cloud und überträgt sie auf die Meta-Server. Damit unterliegt die Datenverarbeitung nicht mehr der Kontrolle der Nutzer, sondern den Zugriffsmöglichkeiten von Meta – und letztlich auch der US-Regierung.</p><p>Das zentrale Problem dabei: Die oft angeführte Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung, mit der WhatsApp vermeintlichen Datenschutz suggeriert, greift in diesen Fällen nicht mehr.
