Ryan RobinsonAnybody else seeing some weird <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/OneDrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#OneDrive</a> behaviour if you have folders shared with your account syncing in Windows? I have several large folders shared and it looks like an update now opens them in a browser if I try to view them from Windows Explorer, not actually syncing those files anymore.

Father EnochNow that I've gotten all of that off of my chest, I'll get to the point.I need help on how to RECOVER everything "stored" on <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Onedrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Onedrive</a>, put it all on my <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/harddrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#harddrive</a> (where it was SUPPOSED to be since the beginning) and THEN tell onedrive to fuck off a cliff. Father EnochSorry to burden everyone but my mother and I need help. 2-3 years ago, I bought a computer that came with <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Onedrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#Onedrive</a> (a cloud storage I did NOT ask for). A year later, my computer starts telling me "my onedrive is at full capacity" and I need to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/pay" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#pay</a> to "upgrade" it. I turned off and LOST EVERYTHING (all my files, all my books). I had to turn it back on, just to use my <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/PC" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#PC</a> again. Now my mother is telling me SHE'S getting the same problem on HER <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/computer" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#computer</a>.

BluedepthThis whole time at <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/work" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#work</a> I've been using the <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Office365" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Office365</a> Admin Web Console to grab links to <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/OneDrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#OneDrive</a> to backup my users data there when we tear down their accounts. Today, my help desk admin asked me for help, because he couldn't access the zip file that <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Microsoft</a> made. I copied it to my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/MBP" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MBP</a> and unpacked it, that worked fine, so whatever Windows 11, you can't, but my MBP can. So, I went browsing, erroneously believing that the data would be there. LOL. Of course not. (1/4)

DanielNachdem bei mir nun seit Wochen die Explorer-Einbindung geteilter Ordner bei OneDrive nicht funktioniert hat, habe ich es heute Morgen noch einmal probiert. Ging nicht. Manche haben das Problem seit 9 Monaten.Gerade eben habe ich entnervt 5 GB Storage Share Managed Nextcloud bei Hetzner gebucht und eingerichtet.Dann wechsle in den OneDrive-Ordner, um erste Daten umzuziehen bzw. erst mal rüberzukopieren. Und was sehen ich: Es funktioniert wieder bei OneDrive!Egal, das macht den Umzug nun trotzdem wesentlich leichter. Und Microsoft vertraue ich nicht mehr bei meinen Daten.Ich hatte zudem in letzter Zeit regelmäßige Synchronisationsprobleme bei Microsoft.
