Minnesota Spy Club<p>Nov 28, 1922: On this date, Hans Wijnberg was born in Amsterdam. At age 17, he was sent by his parents to the US to escape WW2. He served as OSS radio operator with Fred Mayer & Franz Weber in Operation Greenup. The operation was one of the most successful OSS operations. Served as OSS radio operator with Fred Mayer in Operation Greenup in WW2. Operation Greenup was one of the most successful OSS operations, led by the real "Inglourious Basterds."
