Yesterday in #Oxfordshire the weather was better than we could have hoped for our #PartialSolarEclipse outreach event! We had between 15-20 people drop round during the 2hrs. We had eclipse glasses, projection, white light & H-alpha telescopes for people to view. We had some nice optical effects too!

The Church of St Peter and St Paul at Wantage in Oxfordshire. The church and tower date to the C13th with some C15th additions, including an extended chancel. The Church was restored during the C19th. My own. #SteepleSaturday #Medieval #Oxfordshire

The "Moving Murals" project, a collaboration between #Oxfordshire Community Rail Partnership (OxCRP), #Chiltern #Railways, and community artists, aimed to celebrate local communities and explore themes of place and identity. Young people from #Oxford and #Banbury developed skills through workshops, producing lino prints, collages, and signs that were transformed into full-scale murals. Supported by Chiltern Railways' Community Investment Fund, the exhibition enriches the travel experience by reflecting the area's culture. The event celebrated the creative achievements of the participants, showcasing their talent and the power of art to connect communities.
