Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>Our motorhome is set up with solar panels and lithium battery system that allows us to dry camp for extended periods without relying on a generator. Our best dry camping experience was in Idaho, outside the town of Stanley. A gorgeous place.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/boondocking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>boondocking</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Idaho" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Idaho</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/drycamping" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>drycamping</span></a></p>

Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>Driving the Cottonwood Canyon Road in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah. Very remote area. No cell signal. The road is not passable after rain. </p><p>I blogged about this drive here:<br><a href="https://davidnkeng.wordpress.com/2018/05/01/cottonwood-canyon-road-to-grosvenor-arch/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">davidnkeng.wordpress.com/2018/</span><span class="invisible">05/01/cottonwood-canyon-road-to-grosvenor-arch/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Utah" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Utah</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GrandStaircaseEscalante" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GrandStaircaseEscalante</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>In 2018, we spent a couple of months in the desert of Southern Utah. We had a wonderful time exploring the area. We camped at Utah's Goosenecks State Park for a few days by parking our motorhome right next to the canyon rim. Look at the view from the outside of the front windshield.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Desert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Desert</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Utah" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Utah</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/GoosenecksStatePark" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GoosenecksStatePark</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/canyon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>canyon</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>And a less popular Valley of the Gods in Utah, where it felt like we got the entire place to ourselves.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Desert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Desert</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Utah" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Utah</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/ValleyofTheGods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ValleyofTheGods</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>During our full-time RVing, we got to visit the place I had been wanting to see, the Monument Valley. It’s located in the Navajo Nation, near the border of Arizona and Utah. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Desert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Desert</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/MonumentValley" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MonumentValley</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>The night sky at Alabama Hills has little light pollution, great for stargazing. Here the Milky Way from our camping spot. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/MilkyWay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MilkyWay</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TheMilkyWay" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TheMilkyWay</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/NightSky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NightSky</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>If you like deserts and mountains, I think you will enjoy Alabama Hills. In fact, you will enjoy the whole Eastern Sierra region. There are so much to do and see.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/California" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>California</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/EasternSierra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EasternSierra</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>Then there is Alabama Hills in the California's Eastern Sierra. This place is gorgeous for dry camping. You have Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48, as a backdrop and surrounded by fascinating boulders.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/California" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>California</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/EasternSierra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EasternSierra</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/AlabamaHills" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AlabamaHills</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>One advantage of RVing is our home has wheels and we can follow the weather, or avoid it. Want a sunny day at Crater Lake National Park or misty Oregon Coast? You got it.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Oregon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Oregon</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>What we saw a lot of when we lived on the road were beautiful sunsets, many of them. When you work or live in a house, many times you look out of the window and it’s already dark outside. Living in an RV, you live much closer to the outside. Here is one of the most dramatic sunsets I have seen. It was at Washoe Lake State Park in Nevada.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/sunset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sunset</span></a></p>
Keng อย่าเรียกลุงเก่งเลย<p>Some of the cool things we did includes camping on the rim of a canyon. I kept track of places we traveled with our RVs in the map. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Travel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Travel</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a></p>
Maria Langer | 📝 🎬 ⚒️🛥️<p>Slept better than expected, despite the freeway noise. It's coffee time! I'll hike with my friend at 8:30; it'll be the last time we're together until she (hopefully) joins me for a two week boat trip in early autumn. Then it's a day of chores on my way from <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Quartzsite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Quartzsite</span></a> to the Holtville Hot Springs. Dump the waste tanks, fill the fresh water tank, do laundry, buy groceries. I hope to be tucked into a new campsite on BLM land long before sunset. <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a></p>

It's so pleasant to see the evening sky through my windows. <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/Quartzsite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Quartzsite</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/RVing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RVing</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.world/tags/sunset" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sunset</span></a></p>
