Happy 75th Birthday to Richard Dean Anderson.
I had watched #Scrubs, #TheOffice, #ParksAndRec, #Psych and numerous other 'comfort' shows. Finally decided to go back to one of the ones that started it all; #RichardDeanAnderson's #MacGyver, not that 2016 reboot junk (tough I have heard it was 'okay')
Anyway!
I just rewatched the Pilot episode and I realized just how much of an impression that this must have left on me as a kid. It's pre-Internet, he knew everything, was logical rather than emotional, had cool toys and knew tech inside and out, doesn't smoke, used his brains as his toolset, didn't have kids (but he's a "Big Brother") and while I'm not far enough in to get to "The Phoenix Foundation", the first episode is very clearly #NewMexico (not Arizona as you might have guessed from 'the Phoenix foundation').

I love the SNARK of Col O'Neill (as portrayed by #RichardDeanAnderson). #StargateSG1 I love that O'Neill gets feisty when it comes to protecting his team. (In this case, Teal'c) He's a fab leader.
I've started rewatching #StargateSG1. I'm enjoying it. Did you notice how on the pilot Captain Carter used "MacGyver" as a verb?!
