Judge Delivers Crippling Blow to MAGA

Musk:“If ANY judge ANYWHERE can block EVERY Presidential order EVERYWHERE, we do NOT have democracy, we have TYRANNY of the JUDICIARY.”

Aka #RuleOfLaw.

Sorry, dude, guess they didn't have that where you ostensibly grew up.

Judge Delivers Another Crippling Blow to MAGA

ICYMI -

What to expect from a felon tyrant wannabe king who keeps getting stopped by a judiciary enforcing the #RuleOfLaw? That he continue to break laws and try to silence those who call it out and oppose him.

It’s also why he’s attacking law firms.

NBC News · Speaker Mike Johnson floats eliminating federal courts as GOP ramps up attacks on judgesBy Scott Wong

Brian Tyler Cohen and Glenn Kirschner run through this week’s judicial decisions refuting and rebuking the Trump regime’s attacks on individuals, Constitutional rights, and the rule of law.

Spoiler: Trump keeps acting without legal authority, the courts keep documenting it and ordering those unlawful actions stopped.

It’s no surprise he’s going after law firms and judges.

Independence UK style:

The Sentencing Council's guidelines on pre-sentencing reports have been derided as 'two-tier' guidance despite an extensive consultation process.

But, Shabana Mahmoud now says she will 'legislate if necessary' to stop such a change, by which she means if she doesn't get what she wants she'll change the law.

So much for the 'independence' of the Judiciary, then... although such political actions are hardly unprecedented!

One word is going to start coming up more & more as the Court of the Tangerine Tyrant tries to extend the influence of its decisions (such as those against diversity policies), and that word is:

'extraterritoriality' - the projection of national legal sovereign power into other jurisdictions.

The US has always used forms of extraterritoriality, but Trump may be about to make this a much more contentious issue as he tries to reach deep into other domestic jurisdictions.

Tim Cartwright, a retired JP Morgan executive from Ohio has become the indispensable watchdog and chronicler of #ICE #deportation flights, thus assisting everyone who is tracking the illegal transfer of refugees and foreign immigrants being #disappeared by the Trump regime.

‘Authoritarian governments generally try to bolster their legitimacy by using #laws, decrees, & #court hearings to justify their actions,…creating, twisting, interpreting, or manipulating laws…to punish resistance. In this regard, the #Trump administration is operating like other authoritarian gov’ts… Respect for the #ruleoflaw has been replaced by contemptuous propaganda that judges who uphold the law are “corrupt” & lawyers who oppose his policies are “scum.”’ | SLaw slaw.ca/2025/03/25/the-us-as-a /2

Which you would only need to include for the countries of rule laws you are subject to. Period.

200 or so, sovereignty jurisdictions, and you do not include all 200 or so, but only the ones that apply to you (that you're subject).

It is not rocket science. This isn't a hard concept to understand. But it is one that the corporate simps what you to ignore.

Been trying to anticipate wheather the next German coalition government [ #CDU #CSU #SPD ] will take the #fascist #Trump path, uphold #Democracy or do something in between.

And, trust me, it's a tough question. Can't share my dozens of links here but I found one (from Canada) who gives outsiders a pretty good oversight.

What speaks for the fascist path is the deep contempt of the CDU/ CSU for the #RuleOfLaw.

On the other hand, they respect parliamentary tradition.

canadiandimension.comWeidel and the White House won the federal elections in GermanyThe real winners of the German election are the hard-right leader Alice Weidel and her White House friends, Elon Musk, J.D. Vance and Donald Trump. Whatever Friedrich Merz’s plans are, he must expect barrage fire from the Weidel-White House connection. Looking back at the election campaign, it looks like he’s actually inviting it.
