But what if a laptop is used for #Rust compiling 4 to 6 hours a day? Would the older Ryzen with 8 strong cores perform better than the new Ryzen's 3P+5E core strategy?

Which is the cheaper model that has been announced?
I'll tell you. The #FrameworkDesktop Motherboard at $800 with (soldered) 32GB LPDDR5. Not a consumer-oriented product.
So yeah, the bulk of consumers will pick an RTX computer or a Mac.
From my perspective, the #RyzenAI HX 390 MAX series has a very bad value proposition over $1,000.
- For #Gaming, you have RTX 4060M **LAPTOPS** at $800 with a decent CPU.
- For #AI, you can make a good PC for $1,500.
- For battery life, there is a thing called a MacBook.
That's probably why they're not being pushed to the market so hard. Pricing wise, it doesn't make sense.
