Bok<p>I am <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/annoyed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>annoyed</span></a>. I originally bought an <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/NvidiaShield" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NvidiaShield</span></a> <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/streaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>streaming</span></a> box in December 2017. Used it for years until one day I was deleting a film I'd just watched from the USB stick it was on when the power went out. Electricity came back on in a few minutes, but the <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/Shield" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Shield</span></a> never did.</p><p>Okay: freak accident. So I bought another one in June 2022. And last night it went insane. It will start and get to the homepage, but whatever button I touch, the screen just flashes. If I manage to open an app, it will crash in a second or two. Tried the box again today, and it's the same. It's not even stable enough to try a factory reset.</p><p>Now I have to find another <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/MediaPlayer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MediaPlayer</span></a>. After one Shield lasting 4½ years and the next only 2½, it's off the list.</p><p>I mostly watch <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/YouTube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>YouTube</span></a> <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/ReVanced" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ReVanced</span></a> on <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/TV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TV</span></a>, and that requires a touchpad to use easily, so I have a couple of iPazzPort keyboard remotes. Does the <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/Onn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Onn</span></a> use a bluetooth remote? Walmart says nothing, but Android Police says yes. So I guess I'm watching stuff on my tablet for a week, then grabbing a <a href="https://lor.sh/tags/streamer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>streamer</span></a> on Black Friday.</p>
