OK, a little poll about my basses.
I've got two nearly identical cheap precision basses. The only difference: one is a traditional "P" with only one split coil pickup, the other one is a "PJ" with an additional single coil pickup near the bridge. Everything else is *completely* the same: manufacturer, wood, hardware, roundwound strings, color, etc..
I purchased a set of flatwound strings and can't decide where to attach them. Where would you place them? (Comments?)

Made up a 512 samples triangle sweep from 25hz to 19500hz in a 5 second file. Normalised to -0.5db. Whacked mp3 player to full volume (goes from 1-40 - 20 will blow your ears out) &it didnt seem to distort or clip the Behringer for some reason.

Turned off preamps & FX, started record and played the sweep through each of the 23 cab models. Then did the same through the ambience, reverb and delay. Havent edited yet so not sure how it turned out

I asked the guy who made my 5-string #bass if he does commission instruments. I think I’d like a 4-string like it some day. He does, yay! And then he says “I’m on both Facebook and Instagram. That’s the best way to reach me.”

Ugh. I have a Facebook account I never use. And I never even made an instagram account. Reminds me of that line in the Blues Brothers. “We like both kinds of music: country AND western”.

Well, I don’t need it soon anyways. Spent too much on the 5-string. we can jump off that bridge when we come to it.

Woo! All my custom string sets from #DRstrings finally came in. Along with the tapewounds from #LaBella. Maybe tonight I'll throw them on.

Also, bought a Greco GS940 #semihollow #shortscale #bass that I'm going to convert into a #fretless #cello. That'll arrive in a few weeks.

Oh. I decided on a whim to buy a new used #Behringer graphicEQ and #DBX compressor+limiter+noise gate. I feel like I stole them they were so cheap but, I know they were sitting around for a long time.

Traded in a hard case that came w/ my #Ibanez bass.
