It is not 'opinion' it is counting. I agree the death of a Pope should be reported by the BBC. I disagree however that the BBC is no different from any other main news channel, the BBC is a public broadcasting service paid for by the British public through the licence fee, not advertising and it should stay within it's remit. That does not include broadcasting 24/7 on all channels in support of the Catholic Church, a ten minute report is ample. Catholics are a small minority in the UK and Britain is not a Catholic country but world wide they claim about 1.2 billion members - so surely they do not need the BBC and British public to pay for their news broadcasts from the Vatican - they can do their own! #BBCNews #Pope
