Charlie McHenry
Some #Democrats argue that it’s complicated; that the consequences of party solidarity regarding the recent vote on a ‘continuing resolution’ to keep the government open for business would not be, on balance, worthy of their opposition. Ten Democratic senators to be precise. I VIGOROUSLY DISAGREE! If we’re going to be a true OPPOSITION party, then we need to resist — at every turn, for as long as it takes. Just like we did in the last general election. As grass-roots activists, it’s up to us to insist on better leadership and demand solidarity. There must be a price to pay for centrist obstruction and betrayal.
