A pair of Mountain Chickadees on the tray feeder.

That little eyebrow adds so much personality, and they are just a bit bigger and a lot more quiet than the other two chickadee species we see.

I think they're my favorite 🥰

Bald eagle keeping an eye on a black-tailed deer carcass earlier this week. I kept a respectful distance from them because the eagle was feeding and I didn't want it to abandon its meal.

I liked the scenery because of the big fir trees, the dry grass and the log. The rain was heavy at the time. It was a typical west coast moment.

A day at the feeder. The trailcam is set to take three photos with every video, so I always have a bunch of photos with the clips too. This is around 1.000 photos from one day, in order. I put them in CapCut, rendered a (very long) video and then sped that video up (times 75) and added music, which is called "70's funk(1431173)". I used the Ceyomur CY95 for this. #birds

Robbins Island wind farm a step closer after Supreme Court appeal dismissed
By Adam Holmes

A proposal to build a wind farm on a remote island off Tasmania's north-west coast is a step closer to realisation, despite environmentalists decrying its possible impact on a critically endangered bird species.

I didn't have much time in Central Park today, but I got some nice photos of common New York City winter birds: a tufted titmouse, a downy woodpecker, an American goldfinch, and a house sparrow. (Aside: with so few people posting here from New York, I'm going to switch to using #birdNYC rather than the Manhattan-specific #birdCPP I used on the Bad Site. It would be nice if other NYC birders tagged their pictures that way, too.)
