POODLE ATTACK LOL well almost
Walking to train, 44th near 8th, guy walking his little white poodle toward me. Without warning, poodle goes after my sneakers, is pulled back but I jump and scream like poof scream witch in w of oz. LOL ILNY I blame my bright white sneakers - pooch was jealous.

Cuando el abuelo de John Jobbagy emigraba a Nueva York desde su natal Budapest en el año 1900, al llegar y establecerse, se sumaría a la fuerza laboral del país junto con una multitud de carniceros europeos que por aquel entonces se dedicaban a sacrificar,  despiezar, empaquetar y posteriormente enviar la carne y productos derivados a los distintos rincones del país, desde el por aquel entonces ruidoso y también maloliente rincón de Manhattan llamado Gansevoort Market, situado dentro del barrio que los neoyorquinos acabarían por denominar como Meatpacking District.

El pasado mes de Noviembre de 2024, y en virtud de un acuerdo histórico con la Corporación de Desarrollo Económico (NYEDC), los últimos siete empresarios de despiece de carne, miembros de la cooperativa Gansevoort Market Co-Op acordaron mudarse a otras instalaciones más adecuadas a la tecnología y estándares actuales de la industria cárnica, años antes del vencimiento del  contrato de arrendamiento aún en vigor hasta 2032.
