@blogdiva@mastodon.social I have used it for two years now at work, and it has allowed me to take pretty consistent and rambling daily work journal entries… that are riddled with tags and notes and snippets that I can pull up at a moment’s glance! It has been a fucking lifesaver for me. Not only do I have ADHD, but I have #epilepsy and migraines and it can really fuck with my memory; I’d had periods in the past where I know I did a lot of work and yet couldn’t tell you a single thing about what I had done a few months back.

Now I just pop open a daily window, write whatever the hell I want, make like a billion tags as I write, and boom.

I almost forgot. Today is #Epilepsy Awareness Day (also known as "Purple Day")! In Ottawa, the "Ottawa" sign in the Byward Market will be lit up purple for the occasion. I might be able to see it this year - will be at the NAC for a play.

#ADHD isn't just an inability to pay attention.

It's also:
* Inability to STOP focusing
* Rejection sensitivity
* Working memory
* Time blindness
* Sleep rhythm differences
* Impulsiveness
* Potential anxiety issues
* Prioritization challenges
* Processing differences (verbal> digital)
* Sensory issues
* Comorbidities (eg #autism / #epilepsy)
* Libido differences
* Procrastination

...and many others. And then add that each person has a different mix of all of them!

What are febrile seizures?

The second reason. Febrile convulsions. What can be done for febrile seizures?
In case of cyanosis of the face, it is recommended to contact the ambulance service.
To reduce body temperature, rinse the skin with warm water.
Febrile seizures are not epileptic crises, but children are still recommended to be examined to rule out such disorders.

I bought a motorcycle in 2006... I need a alternative move of transportation... I changed 3 times my motorcycle.. I moved 3 times... I was ready to change to my 4th bike, in my 4th move but 3 years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy so I couldn't ride anymore.. today I decided to give away, as a gift my last motorcycle with 31,000 KMS on it. now I have a empty parkade stall..

I cried.
