Zimmer ist im Sommer sehr warm (+ stundenweise mobile Klimaanlage), im Winter eher kühl (aber nicht kühl genug für Winterruhe, ~18°C)

Ben SMy 6yo is really into ants and I see a formicarium happening in the near future. I have at least 4 species in various parts of my home. Would it be possible to somehow bait a test tube setup and entice a queen to claim one? I think ghost ants might be a good option to have in general. EmilySorry for the blurry pic, but was a quick one as relocated this to better keep an eye on it. It's a prototype nest I've been testing for ants, and this is a Pogonomyrmex occidentalis ants founding nest. EmilyAfter keeping ants for the last several years, decided to try a different design for a formicarium. This is for Pogonomyrmex occidentalis. I had success with a mix of native Arizona fine sand, and Zoomed clay digging material with a H. arizonensis vivarium and creating stable tunnels.The tubes along the top and sides are vents.
