Today a dear friend and I visited the Mitchells fold stone circle, high on the Shropshire moorland, right by the Welsh border.
It was very cold, and the weather constantly threatened to close in. While up there, we found evidence of a recent offering ritual.
Tyr's Day Blessings.
Stand though twilight come,
And before the chaos

To the encroaching shade
Make offering of your hand
That when all has fallen
And stars themselves
Are swallowed by the void,
