I'm ready. It may not look like it if you saw me stumbling around the house like a tin man after today's #tracktuesday #intervals but I've done enough marathon training blocks now to know when my body's ready.

3 reps of 2 miles at half-marathon pace on the railway path this morning. The same session as two weeks ago, when I was on an actual dead flat track. Faster than two weeks ago, and felt easier, even with having to go through Staple Hill tunnel on each rep, and having to dodge dogs, cyclists, pedestrians and navigate some small hills. 14:06, 14:04, 14:02. Rounded up to a half marathon.

3 more marathon-pace sessions, 2 more interval sessions, and 1 half-marathon race to go. But I'm ready. Now to avoid getting injured or ill.
