Jetzt sind die #Augen überraschend zurück in #Wien, in der U2-Station #Schottentor, meine Augen leuchten darüber vor Freude. Ihr neuer Standort lässt sie auf andere Art wirken. Während sie früher von weitem sichtbar in einer Halle hingen, scheinen sie nun zwischen Rolltreppe, Steg & Gleis zunächst leicht versteckt, tauchen dann auf der Rolltreppe als Überraschung neben einem auf. Und wer von einem der Stege runterschaut, sieht durch die Spiegelung beide Augen übereinander. #kunst #kör

A friend in Japan has sent me a find.

There *IS*, unsurprisingly, a collected sheet music book for #KOR, from 1990. But it seems hard to find, even in #Japan.

The link is for an auction, and bidding means membership into a community, it seems (akin to ebay, etc) which also seems to require a .jp email, some other barriers. Blagh. Auction isn't even close to end and book is going for about US$150, already, yikes.

Context.

Baby Girl Unit One was introduced to #KOR a little while ago, and obsessed with it, in part because of the music. She plays piano and sax, just like Ayukawa Madoka, so she probably has a character crush.

Recently, she discovered I had the OSTs, and she is intently listening to "Madoka Piano Files" and trying to transcribe it.

She's been also singing Kanako Wada's songs from KOR. Her guessing-Japanese is faultering, but she improvises well.

I ain't complaining. In a few years, I will most likely miss her doing such things, spontaneously, so I am soaking it all.

@apc So this is an interesting #AnimangaPictureChallenge as I don't want to use my go to's (Space Brothers, currently Ranma) even if I could (and Ranma is doubtful) but what it DOES open up is #KimagureOrangeRoad in anime form.

The "photograph" motif is all over #KOR, including and especially the ending of every episode. Right before the ED, Kyousuke is summing up his experiences and we get a Polaroid freeze frame.

Dezaki "postcard memories" nothing, these are literal photos! Kasuga-papa IS a photographer!

And what better than from Episode 8, best-KOR and most-fetching-Madoka, with a literal photo shoot? (Eps 5-8 are best KOR.)
