I'm a bit all over the place in the evenings at the moment and keep forgetting what day and time it is. 🙃

Alfred Chow - Maker of ThingsToday I loaded a few tools, And went to the community workshop. We felted over the water storage roof, And fitted battens around the felt. Did a bit of shopping at Lidl, And bought a ferrule crimper set. Moved the cars about on the drive, And unloaded 900+kg of paving slabs from the trailer. Did a tip trip with rubble, old soil, and wood, It was busy, but fuss free. Did caretaking, And also emails and admin. Transportable workshop?A5. I do much of my needlecraft away from home, so I think of different kits for different scales. I am close to minimum today, including the work, some embroidery floss, a Clover needle threader and thread cutter in a plastic, and a needle in the pockets of my quilted and pieced project folder, "Crow Tools".I lost the needle; see my answer to today's question one.The usual next step up is a clear plastic partitioned box with needles, pins, floss and a needle threaders, in a canvas zip bag with the above Next up includes more fabric, scissors, pattern or project books, maybe self-adhesive transfer paper.Sewing machines are mostly out of "transportable" for me.<a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/MakersHour" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#MakersHour</a>

Please can I have Hermione Grangers bag! I can get a lot of my everyday small garden tools into a rucksack i can take as a secondary bag on the train. Some larger ones I can take on a pull along trolley on my local jobs. My creative kit for my hobbies are a pen or 2, pencil paper and a paired down crochet kit: small ball of thread, hook, tiny tin with needles and "bits". Plus I always have a stitch marker on a shoe or zip
