JulianIt was very exhausting getting to this place due to the snow in the mountains but I was rewarded with this fantastic view. Despite being shot a couple of years ago it's still one of my favourites.<br>

JulianAs you can see this picture was taken in autumn. At first glance I thought it be a bad photo but after editing it I find it looks like some kind of painting and somehow I started to like it.<br>

A panorama I did and totally forgot about and I think it was a test of something (maybe a filter or a lens, maybe both). Anyway, the hard part here is setting up the tripod on the stairs. I like this spot in the house specifically in the morning for the sunlight that comes in. <br>

Easter weekend was wet so I needed something indoors to do.<br>
I've never attempted a <a href="https://pixelfed.nz/discover/tags/panoramic?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#panoramic</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.nz/discover/tags/landscape?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#landscape</a> before so figuring out how to do the mountain textures was interesting. There's still a bit to go, but I'm happy how things are progressing.<br>
It took years from finding the location on a map to standing on the spot I took the photo this is based on (No Plein Air here when you've got to hike for hours and climb a mountain with everything on your back).<br>
Fewer than ten people a year enjoy this perspective over the Tweed Valley from what I can make out from notes in the hut book near the lake at the head of the valley, and most of them are hunters, not photographers or painters, so looking forward to finishing it and enjoying some <a href="https://pixelfed.nz/discover/tags/artwork?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#artwork</a> money can't buy. (I'll consider a sale, but this is more unique than a banana on a wall, and I like it myself, so offers should reflect this :-) )

Been a while since I've posted a panorama, so here is one and I hope that I didn't post it before. If so, apologies; my memory is failing me big time.<br>
This is a spin-off from the original panorama entitled "Djinn" and it was shot using my modified camera without any filter on the lens. The scene was mainly lit with candles with a little streak of light coming through the door. After shooting the whole scene, I had to put myself in different positions in the room and shoot single slides there - and the rest is a work of stitching and editing. I've made several versions (as usual) out of this panorama and this one here is the "tunnel" version.<br>
Meanwhile, I'm trying to push myself to do some work with the camera but fatigue and other issues are clogging my mind at the moment. So, probably even by next Friday, I won't be able to post something new from my matchsticks project. Ah well...<br>
